Hmmm

this is all new to me!!
Do UK ones look the same?

That is the same as the s1 where the whole of the handle lifts to open the door. On both my S3's the top of the handle stays still and there is a lift up section underneath that opens the latch.

I can't see the attachment but they sound similar to RX3/818 handles. Makes sense if they had a good supply. This is when you need microfiche and part numbers.

Unfortunately UK ones are not the same, I have two sets of these US spec handles, they don't work on UK cars..........................
Do you know anyone in Aus who wants a set or 2 ?

I'll take a set off you if you're flogging them

Well i just learned something new! I had never noticed the UK handles were different. Japan, US and Aus are definitely all the same on that front. I wouldn't be surprised if continental Europe was the same as UK and a different handle was used for some bullshit EC regulation.

This engine is the original engine out of the car, what amazes me is it still has the brackets for the aircon and it also has all the emissions junk and a flex plate fitted not a flywheel, so that means the replacement engine was from an auto with aircon

Where on earth would you find one of those in the UK ??

A rare auto engine, isn't that worth Β£1500 on eBay these days?

I have a little Japanese woman under the dash of my Cosmo who says something every time I turn on the ignition.
Iβll find her one day.

But what does she say ???

I need to bump into that Japanese guy at Tescoβs again, the one who read all the stickers on the windows for me.

Ive decided I need to make the car mobile and as I have a couple of spare engines I may as well swap the lump.
So today Ive gone from this....
To this....
I guess this type of oil cooler isn't particulary efficient

Things are moving apace Keith............I have missed something in you threads? Was the engine encased in clay as a embalming/storage method?
