Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
I popped along to a regular RX-8 OC Essex Meet last Friday evening and decided, it being a lovely evening, to take KIMI 2 along for a run. Turned into the car park to see another FB parked up with a spare parking space next to it (in a busy car park!). Pulled in and took the photo below. It was a American Diner, hence the flag
Great to meet Bob Pay with his Series 3 Red FB, who I discovered lives only about 20 minutes from me down the A12
He'd found out about the meet from Aston at Essex Rotary at the recent Mazda Fans Day and decided he'd pop along - Im glad he did, a lovely surprise

That looks like a Rotary Owners Club (ROC) badge from the 90s, next to the Mazda Badge?

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
I'm told it was - the car also had one of the "RX-7 Owners Club" rotary shaped badges on the front windscreen too.DKWW2000 wrote:That looks like a Rotary Owners Club (ROC) badge from the 90s, next to the Mazda Badge?
I'll try and encourage Bob to sign up on here.
Codge - I'm assuming this is car 178 on your Series 3 "2016 Area Locator" listing?

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
I tried to get him to join us on here a couple of years back...

Don't have any more details although I did point the owner in this direction.

Nice spot, Casey. Looks nice
Pete. Paul is on the forum and has posted it up for sale here!
Haha. I've spoken to him a lot on Facebook and he's a good guy. Car shouldn't need much to get on the road. http://www.rx7fb.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=3863
