Thanks Ian, it was about time - she spent too long being bumped down the queue.

Now in the hands of the spray shop next door to the metal place who came highly recommended, safe to say she’s not their usual grade of clientele.

Paint prep has escalated somewhat, with all the flaws in the previous paint job any hope of a simple smooth and blow over went out the window so off it all come.

Currently in hi build

After a brief pause in the process due to the guys wife having their first child with a C section then falling quite ill in the process rendering him a full time dad for a period we are back under way. You can tell this guy normally paints E types etc he’s a picky fella but it shines through in the quality and I’m probably going to be scared to walk near it but there we are.

Blocking back done and now in primer….

In colour this week, although he’s yet to tackle the doors which revealed some past impact damage and the front wings which had some self inflicted garden furniture damage so more to go but exciting to see the tornado silver back on her.

As a side note if anyone could hit me up with someone who does the arch spats like I had on her would appreciate it. Mine we shot and the guy who did them isn’t responding.

are you building it back up or are they doing it? I'd be terrified of scratching it  can't wait to see this finished. I bet you are well chuffed.
