Very hard to get a good 12A engine now.

how much has he butchered it putting the MX5 engine in though? Closed bonnet could mean trouble.

Is the 13b a good enough substitute engine? And is it possible to put a carburettor on a 13b? I would ideally like to keep original or as close to original as possible is what I'm trying to achieve? And I've asked for photos but haven't got anything in return as of yet

13BT swap info.

There's different 13Bs.

So that linked thread is for the same car and this proves he succeeded with his intentions in shoving an mx5 gearbox and engine inside of one, interesting.... for your information he has posted another photo of the engine bay, just wanted an honest second opinion into the state (as shown) thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!

I think if that much time & effort is put into a project but not finished or MOT'd there is normally a reason for it!

Correct and the only reason to buy a RX7 FB is for the driving experience with the rotary engine..... Complete waste of money if its been converted to a 4 pot
