I'd say the line about it being built for the film is a deluded fantasy dreamt up by the loon who built this car to impress ............ well, god knows who?
A good line to drop into your ad though to make punters think it's something special.
PS
Did I mention that I was told my silver RX7 was used in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking barrels? It's many scenes never made the final edit.........................of course I can not confirm this , an interesting bit of history none the less

Owner was on Exile 2010. Then it moved to a new owner in Kent. He said he was going to put an MX5 power unit in it back in January. Not only has he done that but also resprayed from Silver to Honda Yellow.

Yep. Spotted parked in Maida Vale in 2011. Noted as LHD then.
Thanks for the refresh though.

Mint looking series 3 for sale on ebay..... C390 NWC.......... refreshing to see someone sell a car with a 99p start and let it find it's own level............hopefully this will make some good coin for the seller.
Sellers description:
Only used for shows and summer, tucked away every winter in garage. Have decided to sell due to the lack of use, as I require an automatic after a left hip replacement, driving is not comfortable any more in this type of car. I have owned and maintained the car for 20yrs and kept it original, I managed to purchase and fit new genuine exhaust from a MAZDA dealer in Belgium a few years ago, these are as rare as hens teeth now. She starts and runs well HOT OR COLD without SMOKE.
This MAZDA RX-7 Series 2 must be one of the best around. The condition inside and out is fantastic for a vehicle of this age. Time warp interior with velour brick red coloured sports interior, original long-wave /medium-wave FM radio, digital clock, manual choke, three spoke steering wheel, polished alloy 15" alloy wheels, electric windows, electric door mirror adjustments, rear heated screen, front headrest, rear wash wipe, dimming dash light, also have glass sun roof in original wallet, ORIGINAL SPARE WHEEL/TYRE and TOOL KIT. IF you are a MAZDA RX enthusiast or just looking for a unique sports car to invest in from an era, which is now building a big classic following. Then this one will not disappoint anyone. Cost me less than £ 100 as classic car fully comp insurance.
No buy it now, will run to auction end, you are bidding to buy no tyre kickers, test pilots or dreamers please.
Phone or text 07946506426 for more info happy bidding.
