is it much hassle to get it registered?
No not at all, phoned and asked the question today.

Get MOT'd on chassis number

Get INsured on chassis number

Pay 20% to excise on what I paid for her

Send it all to DVLA with a £50 cheque

Voila!

Very jealous Tim. s1s are so nice. I'd very happily ditch my electric windows and sunroof for those bumpers!

Great!.....Thanks Tim.

A bit of register work to do now but I'll stick up a note about what's new and what's not in a bit. We saw DRS 6T was at Blandford a while back....that looked like a real great machine.

So on Friday James stopped by on his way past, always good to catch up with him and chew the fat and with him he bought a present or four. I always had a vision of how I wanted an S1 to look and it's very much like the well known Japanese maroon one.

This is what he was delivering... h[b[

Should look a little like this...

That's my dream 7 right there, ever since I first got into them 12 years ago so I'm really happy.

Few things to do, alternator sometimes charges, sometimes not so much, tacho does as it pleases, but nothing horrific and the fact it starts and runs and now drives after swapping this rather cruddy slave cylinder

I won't be complaining about a few dirty electrical contacts.

Right, that was a bit of work (but been V Busy as well).
All previously noted as in yard by the great Mr White himself, except......
C691 HAX was for sale in Harrow N London a bit back. Now found it's way to Blandford.
A284 SWC is pictured a couple of pages back in this thread......it was another car previously spotted in London.....Also it's an S3
B677 ADG should read B677 AOG.....Terri Mayne's old car (from old RX7 club)

Interesting that TAL 7X is now taxed.....but soon to expire without car sold.....is Tim using that as a runabout I wonder?

As said, muchos apreciation Captain Timbo.

I think he does use it as a hack when he's bored of the RX-8 (so quite a lot  )

Solid car - just not pretty.

If the owner of B677AOG is a lady - then I think it still may be her that owns it, he's just re-commissioned it for her.
