That's actually even closer to the original.

Hi Ruben,
a warm welcome to the forum, nice car, have you fitted the Elford turbo kit yet?
There's loads of good info and advice on here (apart from rolling diameters!).
cheers,
Ian

hi ian
thanks for the welcome and i´m just fitted the elford turbo today but i´m still waiting for an oil cooler and the oil lines so can´t start it up yet
I already looked at the turbo section of the forum and indeed very good info to be found
I wanted to post some pictures how the car looks now and the progres but i don´t know if i can show them in this topic or if i should open a project topic

it's probably best to open a project thread in 'RX7 Rides and projects' then everyone can follow your progress. Did you get the solenoid and wiring to retard the ignition?

ok i´ll start up a project thread
and yes i did get the solenoids and black box with it to retard ignition but i didn´figured it out yet how it works or is supossed to be connected but i did saw something in the turbo section about it

and i also don´t know where the oil lines of the metering pump go since the su carb doesn´t have any connections for it

here's a diagram I put together a while ago showing the carb connections and where the omp lines connect to it.
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B8jAGJ ... QzZGQ2ZTJk
Elfords did 3 different versions of the black box... let me know which one you have and maybe I know the connections

Thanks the diagram explains it all
And i'll take a picture of the black box so you can see what type it is

If you want to keep the 14 inch wheels, you can fit 185/65/14. This is less than 1% difference from the original 205/60/14 so will have minimal effect on your speedometer readings. And it's a much more common size to find.
And..... welcome to the forum too.
