Gearbox is back in now. Propshaft mounted. Need to make the connecting pipe for the RB-exhaust now and some heat sheelds.

Sounds very good, quite differend than the original one. More bass tone! Got it running now on pre-mix ( bit to much oil, i guess ) from a small tank i made up from an old spraygun, gravity fed. The OMP still has to kick in from the separate oil tank i installed.

Can you post a sound vid? I've heard the new exhaust design will have another sound!

I've got my spare Nikki carb in a similar dismantled state and an in process of cleaning everything up - what a job that is!
Danny (or anyone else that knows!) how do these "venturi" (or whatever they are called come off? I have removed the jets, but the ringed parts seem attached in a way I can't fathom. Are there screws buried deep in where the jets came out or am I missing something?

Hi Casey, these parts can just pop-out. Some WD40 aroud them and a wiggle will do the trick. They can be a little corroded and therefor stuck in the body. Don't try to force them too much.
