Looks like you did some excellent machining work there Thomas. More agressive than i did judging by the thin wall of the finished venturi. Is the a primary ventrui fitting inside the primary in that picture?
Is the signal still strong with the primary opened up? I guess it must anyway be stronger than if it was a 48 Ida Webber? And you have the joy that comes from driving with secondaries
Did you remove the choke?

Thank you for the feedback. Not even much nikki enthusiasts in the forum. I like the nikki cause of the special construktion design for the rotary big power band.Come time come awareness.
I did my own spacer for the accelerating pump housing. For sealing i take the old vacuum diaphragm.

Hi Thomas, disregard all my questions about your car on the other thread. Given the luxury of being off work with a broken knee,i had time to read thru this thread and look at all the pics you put up. The restoration/upgrades to your car are all very professionally done, lots of thought, time and of course money and dedication. Your car looks badass,i'd be hesitant to even drive it after all the hard work. Looks like you went to great lengths to rustproof all your work. Any ideas on horsepower output, or only done the butt dyno. Are you in the automotive trade, where did you develop your skills? Again, top notch work and truly one of a kind car. -Mike

Thomas, can you enlighten me? Is a Spirit R an original model designation for your RX,or a name you've given it after all the modifications, not clear.

I have given it before all the modifikations Mike, cause it' s my interpretation of an Rx 7FB Spirit R.
Only the last Rx-7 Fd and Rx-8 got the spirit r label.
The last 50 Rx7 Fb got the legend label.

I understand Thomas. How does your race prepped Holley handle hard braking and turns? Having previously owned a 12a car with R B intake and rotary prepped Holley that gave the most power of any carb combo I used but would not tolerate hard braking or turns without loading up,stumbling or stalling out at times. With considerable work I could minimize these traits but could not eliminate them entirely. I chalked it up to a performance carb being mounted, sideways, put the Nikki back on and eventually sold the car-still have the intake and carb. One of the reasons I like the fuel injection on my SE
