Hmm, if the weather forecast doesn't improve I doubt I'll bother...not sure I want to drive for 3 - 4 hours in the rain...to park in a field and stand in the rain for a day...to then drive the same journey in the rain again.

The hillclimb action will be fairly lame if it's wet, unless you like watching people be overly cautious, or crash

Fingers crossed for a weather improvement then ... 130 miles is a long way to go just to get rained on #50 50

The forecast is for heavy rain and thunderstorms so everyone will have to make their own call whether to go or not.... It'll be a pretty dismal experience if the forecast is correct.

The Met Office forecast seems to be improving by the hour, If it stays as below, I intend to go:-

I take the met offices forecasts with a pinch of salt, they couldn't predict that night follows day, hence the BBC weather presenters these days always adding the caveat "at this point, we are unsure" or "things may change" or " at the moment, this is what we think may happen".
They're suppose to be forecasting the bloody weather, not guessing what it's going to do..... I can do that myself.
How can it be that with all their computer models and millions of pounds of taxpayers money they haven't got a clue yet some old boy armed with a barometer and a measuring dish in his back garden can get it spot on?

For this Sunday though, quite a few other other weather forecast sources are predicting heavy rain ( probably where the Met office got the tip from  ) so we'll have to wait and see.
Hopefully it'll brighten up and tomorrow will see the worst of it.

Right who is going rain or shine ................ I know it's a long drive for a few of us, but it is the only get together for most of us.

Same here aye. I'll try and post up on Sunday morning what the weather is like outside since I'm not very far from Shelsley.
