Thanks DIBS. I've not noticed any difference in the ride height, but will take some photos when I get the opportunity and try and asses it that way. Overall the car feels much tighter and I don't notice any additional crashing and banging as a result of the spring change. Yesterday I took it out for about an hour to test it including out on open roads and through some of the villages here in North Yorkshire. Coped well with all of that including the potholes on the minor roads. Adjusting the steering though has made a huge difference. There is still some play of course, as is the way with recirculating ball steering, bit wandering at speed on open roads is much less and easier to control. Overall I would say the biggest change has been an increase in my confidence that the car will go where I point it and that it copes well on all road qualities and types. Job well done by keith then!A7RXY wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 8:39 pm Congratulations, there was you saying you couldn't wait to do it.
I must admit due to the need of extra space, that's why I tackled the rear first, I'll be interested to hear if you feel any difference now it's running on poly bushes and if it rides any lower.
Happy rotating.

Just need some better weather though now so I can take a run down to the coast. Might even take my wife and a picnic!

PS. When I'm out and about and parked up, it is amazing how many teenagers recognise the car and take an interest. I've discoverd this is because they recognise the car from games like Grand Tourismo, not because they have a passion for 80's vehicles.
