Ian65, was the owner once on these forums a while back?
he was never on this forum but he was on Exile...
http://www.exile-rotorsport.com/index.php
and there's stuff on there about your car going back years... it would be useful for you to have access to that but you can't just join... you need proposing... there are a few Exile guys on here... maybe someone could have a word for you and get you in?

Ah that makes sense, I did some searching on this site but couldn't find much, Tim the previous owner did say that exile was a good place for info etc.
I requested access not long after picking the car up but never got a response, so I thought it must be dead.

Premix oil will settle out in the tank. It's over oiling. You want 100:1 or 150:1 ratio.
Silly question, but where's the secondary injectors installed?

I tried cleaning up the plugs, it ran ok for a bit then got rough again, got some new ones on the way. What's the best way to proceed, I assume sticking the new ones in will just get them fouled as well? Shall I drain the tank and start over with fresh fuel?
Secondary injectors: no idea, that part of the engine is a snake pit of fuel hoses and stuff I'm still trying to wrap my head round. Can supply more pics if you'd like Tool?

I'd drain the tank.... if it's still got the stock series 3 tank fitted there is a drain plug on the bottom of the tank.

Aye, I've already located that.
Is there anything else that could cause the oily plugs, seals going etc?

Oil control rings going, turbo oil seals going etc.
12AT only has 2 injectors in the middle iron. Thought you had a FC inlet fitted which give 2 more locations in the LIM for secondary ports.
Wondered if they were retro fitted somewhere.
Once plugs are fouled they're toast. Fit new ones. Take it out on the motorway for a good run. Not too much sitting.

If the turbo seals are gone it'll smoke like a chimney on the overrun and at idle.... does it look to be burning any oil?

Oil level seems pretty stable.
New plugs then a good run out: will do and report back.
