They are very adjustable, ball joint in the mirror, and being cheap abs plastic, the cut away in the bottom of the casing could be trimmed a little further to give more movement easily enough. I didn't even sit in the car to see what the vision was like to be honest...but hey, they look good and will pass the MOT - what's behind me has lost

Are they the same mirrors that came on Yank-market cars? Or an aftermarket option? I love the look of them, but the LHD ones don't seem to have enough adjustment to give you the right field of view on a RHD car. I dunno if they came on any UK market trim specs though :?: .

In your photos OP, btw, the car looks fantastic just for taking the side rubstrips off, is this a horrific job or comparatively straighforward?

Sorry, reading that back there's rather a lot of questions there, didn't mean to come across like the Spanish Inquisition lol

They are "universal" mirrors from ebay...nowhere near as nice as the oz aeros, but good for the price...and will do for now :)

Taking the strips off can be a nightmare, this had already been done on the car when we bought it, but I have done it on other cars - I'd recommend a toffee wheel, vanilla wheel, whatever they're called to get rid of the adhesive :) You will generally find that the paint underneath is a different colour too, if it is still intact - as it won't have had years of exposure to the elements etc - a good machine compound will usually sort that though ;)

Well, a little update...

test fitted the TWR rear spoiler...

and also the new wheels - picked up some Supra Mk2 2.8 wheels - in black and white, so I've been playing with different colours too...

original black and white...or bronze

or bronze and black

or silver

One of the rear arches has rusted through, so I decided to fit some fibreglass ones, as I could not recreate the original...and then thought that I'd go the whole hog...so I test fitted these at the weekend too :)

Not to everyone's taste of course, but my midlife crisis would have been a nissan 300ZX if I hadn't had this to play with

Oi! When i sold you the spoiler did that give you some kind of voodoo magic window into my head! That is along the lines of what i have planned.
Them some big arches :o where did you get them? Think you might need some spacers to fill them out a bit more. Oh and drop it an inch or two
I think the wheels would look good gloss black.
