Re: 1st project
I think it sounds like the car would be awesome for you bro. Especially if you can weld
. They are pretty simple cars to learn and work on

Re: 1st project
I can weld sheet metal no problem, but let's see how these welds turn out on the car
just hope the car can teach me!

Re: 1st project
Hi Josh & welcome to the Forum.
The RX7 Fb is a great little car to work on with very easy access to most areas, also somebody somewhere on the Forum will have experienced most problems you are likely to encounter and will be happy to advise & the chances are there will be a "Thread" already on the subject.
I have have had a lot of cars both here and abroad (80+) and when I was looking for a Toy again having had to give up Bikes the first choice was another FB.
You will find the Rotary bug gets under your skin, but before buying read up as much as you can & ask as many questions however stupid you think they might sound as you don't know what you don't know,
regards Pete

Re: 1st project
Careful there Josh.....that's a whole lot of work there for a 1st restoration......I'll bet the underside is shot. Have a good look at the back wheel arches, back sills and front chassis rails.
Look at the buying guides on here and skim the various resto posts.
If you've a lot of space though Josh and £100 or so to invest, pull it down for parts and to see how it's put together. Back on the road? Nah.

Re: 1st project
We have seen this car before and I think at best this is a parts car and looks to far gone to save. But wait and see what other forum members have to say.
