lol, i'm just used to my rx8 headlights, they are great through the rain though.
my mx3 is a little like that, not as dim though but then i probably could do with removing the lens and polishing them up.

to be honest the some of these new bulbs are too bright and very dazzling, especially when most roads are well lit, except country roads.

i love a car with popup lights though, looks great.

If you look closely they should say 'Cibie'.
That's what I sourced on the net.....Same 7" items. Still in production by Valeo.

I went for HID replacement bulbs and ballasts on mine, much improved visibility.

It's funny, the previous owner struggled to sell the car because of the colour. Ended up almost giving it away! I think its one of the cars best features, especially now that retros cool
