Hey AnFu,

I know a guy in Slovenia who sent me the link to that FB the other day, funny to see it on here now! He's importing his FC into Slovenia, keep an eye out for it!

Hello!

I will keep an eye out for the red FC :) .

Thank you all for your help with parts and service advices. I really appreciate it th: .
So far there is nothing new about it. When it will be I'll keep you updated.

I just have to ask. When you rev the engine high enough there is a beep, that indicates you have to change gear. Does this FBS2 model have a rev limiter or does it just rev freely? Is there any electronic control for the engine or is it all mechanical? And what is the safe limit for it. I have read that it shouldn't be a problem to rev above 8k RPM, but there just isn't any significant power gains after ~6800 RPM. I don't know where I read this, but it caught my eye.

Thank you again for everything.

Best regards

There is no rev limiter. A buzzer sounds at 6500 rpm as a warning (because it is very easy to rev a rotary engine to 8000 rpm and beyond if you are not paying attention). A safe maximum rpm is 6500rpm and occasionally to 7000rpm. This is why the tachometer is shaded yellow at 6500 - 7000 rpm and red after 7000 rpm.

As you say, there is no real benefit in exploring upwards of 7000 rpm (other than shortening the life of your engine).
