It's a lot better nick than many younger FD manifolds, if it's any consolation Timmers. Probably not, I guess. It's a right malarkey welding up cast though, innit. You need to get the work really hot first to stop it cracking more and/or the weld not taking. Best of luck with it

Admittedly it's not the best material to work with, but it's got to be worth a go. If not, I'll put it down to experience, stop being a tight-ass and buy a proper SDR manifold or the suchlike.

Cheers Damon, due to events that escalated quickly today though - that won't be required.

Well, I'm not sure how to explain this with any kind of conviction as logic went right out the window today. Not a minor detour from the plan, more like a major re-route. I think it stems from the fact that I've always loved a shiny piece of metal, anyway - enough of that, and onto the point in hand. I accidentally bought this.

It's a Garratt GT42/51 and its jolly lovely. It also means that I'm gonna have to rework my downpipe amongst other things (including my obviously addled brain) and do a bit of re-jigging so more of that to come. Luckily, it comes with a manifold complete with waste gate outlet so every cloud and all that ( )

I blame Rammo, he made me do it.

Hybrid TII and 13b HKS manifold for RHD SA/FB's hitting the FS section sooooooon.

What with the donk about to be put back together and the sun being out I thought it might be time to give the old girl a clean on the inside, and while I was at it I thought I'd play with my prime 50mm lense and do some interior shots of general SA awesomeness.

Excuse the low depth of field, I was farting about.

Also fitted my new NOS lenses off of eBay fame

Loads of small jobs to do, but looking forward to summer.
