The Monster-in Law lives in Ipstones, which is a tiny "village" on top of a mountain half-way between Leek, Ashbourne and Cheadle, so I get up there quite a bit. It used to be quite handy as a free B&B when I was doing long-distance courier work and stuff. There was one time when I had to get some oil cos the bike was using a fair bit (dispatch hack, lol) so I braved the perils of Cheadle shopping "centre" where there was a bike shop. The only can of Silkolene the bloke had was completely mangled, like it had been dropped from the rooftop, and even weeped a bit where the corner had been crushed so badly the crimping had parted. The bloke explained his delivery driver always just literally chucked his order out of the back of the van and drove off, leaving it on the kerbside He wouldn't give me a discount, either, quoting the much-used bargaining tool of "find another"

I know Ipstones, a friend of mine lives there. Her husband is good with a spray gun, chips away sort of thing.

I think i know the motor factors you're refering to as well.
