Should have it home by 5pm tomorrow.
I really need to get it in the air so I can have a good poke around underneath.

Yes its home and in the workshop.
I couldnt get pics up last night as "she who must be obeyed" had me doing other things. I will get some up tonight.
On first proper inspection as I was able to jack it up and get underneath, the only scary thing is the rust in the O/S chassis rail where it comes up over the diff.
This cannot be repaired with the diff in place so it will come out, get the rust done and I will then accidently put a series 3 diff in with disc brakes
Apart from that I cant work out why it didnt sell on ebay. The paint looked patchy in the pics due to having primer on it or maybe as it was missing the turbo. No matter its mine now.

Ta da
I cant understand why it didnt get purchased before me, possibly that the engine has been removed of its T04B or that the pics were not the best.
I think I have said elsewhere that there is a couple of small rust holes in places and one on the chassis rail over the diff. But lets face it you will be hard pushed to find a minter for a couple of hundred ££ now on any car that is japanese and 30ish years old.

I took the bins and rear carpet out last night. There is a tiny amount of scab on the floor. I am sure I will find more as I progress. I will start removing the sound deadining on Thursday. The nova rally car will soon be gone and I will have all my garage back. I can't believe its 2 years since I put the nova in there for "a couple of weeks"
