That Brown is so 70's, that started life as a 1600 the 2000 had a different front grill, do you have any pics of the engine bay as I assume it has a RX engine in it, because I could not even spin the wheels in my 2000 like that.

Just re-read this... the car is a bit of an odd-bod as it was made for a disabled couple from new, so it has a few items that are unusual for its age. (I'm lead to believe that the autobox wasn't an option until post '81 for example)

I'm 100% certain it's not had an engine swap as I have the original bill from mazda I have spare front grill the same for it, and it looks right compared to the pics I've seen of others and the hand book?
