Ahhh, I need a special Codge's Register Hotline so next time I can check on the spot if it's known and then hunt down the owner and demand their details if it isn't :lol:

Cracking pictures - really really good, and some nice witty comments to go with them - I've really enjoyed this thread :)

I'm particularly loving the tilt-shift pics - the technique fascinates me :) Did you use a lens or software? Great results whatever :)

I wish I'd made it to the day - did plan to, but other things prevented it unfortunately. There was an old Ford V8 there - 1929 sedan or something - I've seen pics of it elsewhere and it looks bloody superb - as did the Manta 400, as did the Quattro, as did the Imp, as did the.........aaaaaah you get the idea ;)

Thanks again for the pics :)

Thanks for the kind words! The tiltshifting is done with software, specifically this free website here; http://tiltshiftmaker.com/ Very easy to get the hang of, and much cheaper than a lens ...and easier than faffing about massively with aperture settings and such only to find when you upload your pics you've ballsed the whole lot up horribly :lol: Which is what I tend to do when I get all experimental :oops:

Works best on pics with natural horizontal breaks in composition to exagerrate the effect, e.g some from the Brighton Speed Trials a few years ago;
