Here I will show You what happened to my 1983 FB and what I am doing with this car. I will tell this story step by step until the car is finished.
This is how it looks like after the first time I restored it about ten Years ago.
Then, in 2005 I was so stupid to sell it. Five years later, the bloke who bought it from me crushed it and I bought the car back like this:
After a check I decided to restore it again.

He hit a road sign and put the car upside down by rolling over the left side...
So that's how it got damage on the front, roof and the complete left side.
The asshole who towed it away ruined the right front fender as well using a thick rope to secure the bonnet.

I'm still impressed by how sturdy FBs are. I always wondered how well they'd cope with a roll-over. The way the A-pillars bow outwards it looks like they'd snap like pipecleaners if it went on its roof, but your one seems to have put up with it really well. The roof on my first FD was in a worse state than when I crashed into a tree, let alone rolling the car

Gutted that your car was damaged after you restored it. Good luck with your resto project, looking forward to the step by step rebuild
