A bit late posting up a report on this event due to an unexpected family emergency (which is stable for now).

Thank you to everyone who supported this event. A great deal of work went into planning and preparing for the day, so seeing smiling faces at the event made it all worthwhile.

Special thanks to Pete for transporting his engine rotor display to the event  . As usual, this display attracted many interested members of the public and allowed many myths to be dispelled!

Personally, I had a cracking day. The rotary exclusive track session (with 21 cars I think) was especially good - my (near) 21 year old RX-8 (owned since new) and now on 105k miles, reminded me, once again, just how much driving pleasure these cars deliver. Video of the session below - sadly I didn't see James or Rich in the 15 minute session :(

It was a little concerning, in a later track session, to see Rich's car belching smoke from the under the front of the car somewhere. He came off and parked up, only to find it was his brake pads that were overheating and smoking. When he was asked what brake pads he was using he wasn't sure, but probably some cheap basic EBC pads by the sound of it - you cheapskate Rich ;)

If anyone took photos, post a few up on here as I didn't get the chance to take many myself.
