Stand passes should start plopping through letterboxes soon with your stand passes  All the timeline cars will get a RX-8 OC stand pass as the timeline cars will be located at the front of several of the "E" stand areas (see map).

I got my pass today!

This is a map of the stand layout, where we are located in the paddock (ignore the "Forge" events logo  .
CC Paddock Map A.jpg
The Rotary clubs are all co-located as follows:

E1-10, F23 and G2: RX-8 OC

F24-25: MRC

F26: RX-8 Familia (Facebook group)

G3-G5: FDOC

So all stands straddle one of the main thoroughfares in the paddock, near the Strawford Centre.

Don't think we could be located much better than that!

Final number of cars looks like ~135 - an awesome turnout. We will have a Cosmo 110s coming over from Holland to be on the timeline!

Sorry about that Kevin. It's a massive event and the organisers have learned over the years to get the stand cars in earlier, with staggered entry timeslots, else the tiny "B" roads feeding Combe get utterly grid-locked as the non-stand cars start to arrive for the public car parks. They'll be a bacon/sausage roll and hot/cold drink from the RX-8 OC refreshments team in our two big gazebos as token compensation ;)

The Chairman of the RX-8 Owners Club UK has asked me to post this:
The Club, and myself, owe everyone an apology for an email sent yesterday to attendees of the 55th Anniversary JDM Combe event.
It was sent with relevant information for the arrangements of the club stands, and check-in details for the venue on the day.

Unfortunately, human error crept in, and email addresses were disclosed unintentionally to all recipients from RX-8 OC, RX-8 Familia, FD:OC, MRC, and rx7fb.com.
For this, I sincerely apologise.

Rest assured, we are now reviewing and strengthening our club procedures to ensure there will not be a repetition. The data consisted of only email addresses, and this data will be removed.

Despite this one rather embarrassing lapse of vigilance amongst the many things involved with organising this event, we still have what will be a truly epic day out. The parade lap alone will be a Rotary paradise!
The weather looks very promising, and with any luck, I'll catch up and meet with plenty of you on the day.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch if there's anything more we can help with.

Went to fuel the TII ready for early start next Saturday..........turned the key & nothing, then after a few seconds she turned slowly & fired up. After getting mugged by the Garage I turned the key & nothing, then still nothing after several tries.
2 chaps chaps who had just admired the car gave me a quick bump start & home to the garage.
I have removed the starter, benched tested it & found it to be U/S.
5 mins on Ebay & found a new one in UK with 24hr delivery for £65 arriving Tue yay .
Glad it did not happen Sat morning!

So am I. we forget the age of our cars sometimes, as much as we think we are on top of the maintenance, they have other thoughts, at least it was easy to get at.
