Damn, now youve pointed that out I've completely gone off the idea of resurecting this one!

Here’s an Elford that doesn’t look like it’s been used as a speed bump for a tank driving experience.
Not sure if it’s been spotted and posted before.

Now sold for £2000 despite the asking price of £2500. I emailed the guy telling him I was very interested and coudl we have a call to discuss and didn't even get an email back or an opportunity to offer closer to, or indeed the full asking price. I guess he was after a quick sale, but really, why throw away £500 for the sake of one quick phone call!

Ah well onwards and upwards.

Rare things going quick and nobody needing timewaster. Seller with fair price just need money not an oportunity to offer or discuss. I am always surprised how much diskus about 30 euro + tracking so i loose my encourage and trow away the parts and save time and money.

I agree. A genuine seller and possibly overwhelmed with the response happy to get a fair price (to him). It's always sorento lose out though when your involved.

I had a similar experience when selling a kayak...

Chin up Chris. Perhaps it happened for a reason.

I'm embarrassed to admit I've thrown away parts after having my time wasted too many times.
Sometimes its just not worth the hassle to sell.
