Clicking on start.

So the car is making a noise when starting at the moment. It’s a clicking / relay type noise. It engages the starter and cranks ok.

Anyone seen this before? Maybe the starter relay on the way out but would think this would cause non starts?

Be the starter solenoid

Assuming this is on the starter itself? Or is it a relay that sends the current to the starter?

Got a spare starter somewhere, may put it in the boot!
