You may be in luck, if you are still interested Pete :D

I managed to be passing when the owner of the FC was coming out of his home, so I stopped for a chat. Owner is a chap called Ray, who's in his 70's and clearly loves the car. He's not much on the internet, but I gave him my contact details and urged him to join us at Beaulieu if he could. He's got a major heart op pending, so that was focussing his mind, but seemed interested in coming along.

Anyway, back to the hood cover. He had both the cover AND the original roof remade by a local upholstery company in Poole. To my untrained eye, the quality and fit looked good and Ray was clearly very pleased with both items. Not sure if the company would have kept the pattern, but might be worth a call. They didn't specialise in car upholstery, but their Facabook page states they do work on cars/bikes and marine. I sensed it wasn't cheap, but the company do seem to do a lot of high end stuff, just having taken a peak on their Facebook page:

Contact details are all there, as well as further pics of the FC with WIP :) I didn't realise the work was only done very recently, back in late January!

Looks like a racing beat strut brace in the engineroom! Very rare in Germany, never seen one.
