Re: Goodwood 74th Members Meet
There is a dress code apparently FYI
As with any exclusive club, the GRRC Members’ Meeting is intended to be both stylish and relaxed, an informal yet smart event. Gentlemen will be encouraged to wear jackets and either a tie, cravat or polo-necked sweater at the event. Ladies are also encouraged to wear smart clothing.
Blue jeans, t-shirts, low cut or revealing tops, shorts, short skirts, flip-flops, sportswear, baseball caps and heavily branded clothing are strongly discouraged, as are costume or fancy dress.

Re: Goodwood 74th Members Meet
Right then, here's something to be going on with. I was there yesterday, no rain thankfully but damn, it wasn't half cold. The turnout of competing cars made up for it though. Goodwood always manages to attract a stellar cast of cars and drivers.
I got a few snaps along the way. Not as many as I wanted but I was a little challenged in the battery department so that was that.
Ian Cowley was there with the Pentax FB, along with 'Uncle' Tim White (the man who made it run right). See Goodwood's piece here https://grrc.goodwood.com/members-meeti ... 7T5cZ9C.97
Race 1 Highlights

My very amateur contribution for race 2 (camera shake due to shivering but hey, we all suffer for our rotary addiction)
https://youtu.be/YADj0xaHv_U
The mazda was in second place at the driver change (shortened race due to accidents and a long time behind the safety car. Eventually finished in 1oth. Not really a true reflection of it's capability. In the hands of Patrick Watts, it sings and dances. More pics to come.

Straight thru exhaust to a megaphone. I think Ian quoted something like 141db inside the car!!

I quite like the door mirrors. Probably available in period from any motor factor you liked. Wonder if I'll find a pair now?

Re: Goodwood 74th Members Meet
Welcome to Goodwood 74th Members Meeting

GT40's were out in abundance.

Tasty Halibrand with obligatory spin off

F1 legends hiding away in little unassuming garages

Then there was stuff like this. How can you not like an old fire engine?

By Appointment no less

Photobucket is getting all slow and sulky. More later
