Sounds like you had a good time, and really great you got to speak to Kato-san.
The RX8OC has organised for a group (20 cars, but not all rotary, about 11 RX-8's) to travel over to Spa in 2 weeks time for a trackday. It's on my "bucket list" to drive on that iconic circuit, so hoping my RX-8 will be up to it, as it's getting a little tired after 74k miles and 50 trackdays
