A couple of pictures of my relatively new daily driver that I thought I would share here since it is apparently the place for it :)

Hi Flavien,

seems you have a lot of fun at 9000 U/min. So the engine is fine balanced by Re Amemyia? Any japanese scene connection? I know something about 22c rotary works gathering in nagano. http://www.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http ... cgodyCkLpA

Thanks for sharing pictures of such an interesting and nice seven.

Well I try to avoid going over 7500rpm lol...
The car has been sitting for nearly 5 years before restauration. And when pushing it that high, it just scares the shit out of me haha
Appart from RE-Sugyiama who takes care of my car and that I might start stalking in a soon future haha, I don't have any connection of any kind for now...
But yes it's a very fun car. The on/off turbo, not progressive at all, is not exactly confortable when trying to maintain your speed, but I got used to it.
Living in Japan, I have the luck of having a load of nice roads around my place to play with :)
Hiroshima is a bit far from me, but maybe next year, if I'm free around July 7th, I'll check it out :)

I saw your thread on ausrotary. Looks nice.

Have you toyed with the adjustable dampers?
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

Not yet, at all :)
I like the way it is set for now though... The turn in of the car on corner entry is truly awesome. I've never owned such a tossable car before, it's really awesome (I own a 1991 Mini, but that doesn't really count lol). It's a very oversteery setup and coming from a 1995 C4 Corvette, it's nice to get a truly awesome chassis, instead of something made with chewing gum material :D
I loved my Corvette, and while the RX7 lacks in torque and power in comparaison, it makes up in oversteery corner entries haha

Beautiful and rare, good stuff. I seen a very similar one for sale on the Japanese auction sites I think recently. Awesome car. Funny that the turbo is like an on/off switch, something cool about that :D

When in doubt....hit the gas.
22 7's in the yard makes me a collector...not a redneck.

You're not the first one to tell me that lol... Some kind of rare Amemiya hood from what I understood? It's REALLY light though...
