Re: just seen this...
Seen this one "in another place"?
http://cerca.automobile.it/veicoli/s...RT&tabNumber=2
(Italian advert but car near Frankfurt...)
I don't like the spoiler and I don't like the wheels very much...
but if it was right hand drive and £15,000 cheaper I would buy it in an instant.....
I just want a soft top Fb really. Any style, any condition.....
Every time I drive my wifes MGF I just pine for a soft top.
This is presumably why she calls me a "softie"...

Could have been a victim of the scrappage scheme, I think they are legally obliged to scrap them.Johnnyboy wrote:
I just dropped them a line asking why it was being broken and whether they would sell complete - the answer was:
"hi,im affraid we are not able to sell whole as taken in as scrap, many thanks"
Any idea what his problem is?

Re: just seen this...
sounds about right..... what a shame.... let's hope as many parts as possible get recycled.... if it was a scrappage victim, perhaps there may be some good panels on it? Good doors are always worth saving these days, as are straight bumper bars.... pity it's not near me..... I'd have had a few spares off it for the rotorshed.myatt1972 wrote:Could have been a victim of the scrappage scheme, I think they are legally obliged to scrap them.Johnnyboy wrote:

now with a valuation cert for £4000....... how can this be when it isn't selling for 2 grand? Who's valued it and what have they based the valuation on? When did we last see a fb sell for 4 grand?
