The trick was to stop the wee monkey removed the screw, taped over with strip of black tape over the screw.

Found a great way to clean up the manky old fan shroud 'cos it's too big for the dishwasher. So into the shower with some cleaning paste then ...

Re: TWiR 1986 S3 TWR
My search for a mobile welder person has hit a dead end.
The guys that can do it require a 240V power source for their equipment which, helpfully, I do not have. I thought I'd found a company in Windsor They have a Landrover equipped with power source and gas eqipment. The only thing they don't do as a mobile service is ... you guessed it ... vehicle repairs.
Grrrrr. I have a week off this week and thought I was going to get this sorted finally!
So, to cheer myself up, I have a new cuddle toy

Dave,
can't you just borrow or hire a petrol generator for the day.... your welder can run a mig off one of those.
Nice cuddly rotor housing... how long did that take you to make?

Re: TWiR 1986 S3 TWR
I'd suggested that to a couple of candidates and they dismissed the idea saying that a generator wouldn't cut it. Maybe they just didn't want the work anyway?
