It's great to see such an active forum dedicated to the 1st gen RX-7. As Ian aptly noted elsewhere, most RX-7 forums have at best a page or two related to what IMO is the best series of the car.
I bought my '84 GSL-SE in Tucson Arizona back in 2000, and was thankful for the great care it was given by the previous owners. I've done my best to keep it in good shape and running well - its seen no Minnesota winter snow and darn little rain...
I'm looking forward to being a part of this group of enthusiasts.
Thanks for the welcome guys and for the tip of another Minnesota new member.
Here's some more pics from a couple of years ago. At the time I had the piece of tin in front of the radiator removed since I was stripping and repainting at the time. Hopefully this slideshow link will work...
Hello Don,
What a lovely part of the States you live in, I am envious of all that water in your lakes & ponds nearby & understand the fishing is great!
You have a lovely 7 as well.
I guess its cold there at the moment?
regards Pete

Hi Don,
welcome to the forum
That's a gorgeous GSL-SE you have there ..... most of the ones on the forums have been modded to some extent so it's nice to see an unmolested example.
Thanks for all the "welcomes" as well as the compliments on my car.
Yes Pete, although not all of us who live in this part of the upper Midwest of the U.S. always appreciates the extreme of the elements that we have, it is overall a very nice part of the country to live. Today we have -25 degree wind-chill temps, so I don't think I'll be doing any work on the RX-7 today.
Here's some pic's from a couple of years ago in early MAY! That year even life-long Minnesotans were saying "THAT's ENOUGH!!!"...
