Headers
Can anyone identify who manufactured these headers on my S3? I don't think they are racing beat but I'm assuming they're aftermarket.

Re: Headers
I've seen a few of those now. Not sure who makes them though.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

Re: Headers
They look a bit like the Double S manifold I had in my old S2.
I think they are still in business, I had a quote for an Elford system from them not long ago.

Re: Headers
They look the same as my Double S headers. If you have the whole system, the flange after the collector where the two pipes go into one will be rotor shaped.

Re: Headers
Cheers guys, I'll have a closer look at the flange
this weekend. They look fairly good to me in terms of equal runner resistance and a nice long straight piece before the bend but I'm not sure about the sleeve where one pipe seems to have been inserted into another... I'm tempted to get the welder out.

Re: Headers
Mine's the same with the sleeve type arrangement. I think it's for rigidity and / or heat purposes rather than lazy construction.

Re: Headers
I got close up and personal with the flange. It's rotor shaped so looks like a full system Dave. I might just change the back box and leave the rest of the system as is.

Re: Headers
Maybe but I have too many jobs on the go at once right now with the car so will probably run with what I have for the next year at least.
