all of the above is good advice from Dave....
To get a feel of the different models available, have a read of the free E-book that we put together a few years back...

Hello all
Re: Hello all
Hi Mark and welcome to the forum.
We are still unsure of your location geographically and also I presume from your terminology that you are looking for a runner (e.g. road worthy condition) rather than a restoration project? Also what sort of budget do you have?
I hear that there was a tidy series 3 which was for sale in Snaith (Yorkshire Car Centre) about 4K but not sure if it sold.
Cheers

Re: Hello all
Many thanks, as I posted somewhere on the site, I bought a 1983 RX7 fom Doncaster recently. Very impressed, she wants a tune I suspect as it is jerky when slowing down and there is a driveline whine (axle, bearing etc ). I wondered who would be best equipped to service one in the Manchester area

Re: Hello all
Jerking in the driveline (bucking) is normal. You have to learn to dip the clutch a bit more to stop it.
I believe it's due to the low inertia of the spinning parts compared to a piston engine.
Servicing......well Pip at WGT in Cheshire is probably your nearest to South Manchester, and he knows these cars inside out.
Ironically Steve Garbutt has a unit at Carcroft, right next to Bentley where the car was. And he's got a good reputation.
