My names jared and I live on the Gold Coast Australia.I have recently bought myself a series 2 rx7 which i love and unfortunatly had a fair amount of rust in the front chassis rail.I managed to pick up another series 1 rolling body for nice and cheap so have been changing the items over that i want over the past few months. Finally got the body finished off & im currently fitting a flywheel as the series 2 was auto. Will be doing that today and fitting the engine, clutch and gearbox back in on the weekend. After that all that is left is a bit of wiring in the engine, put inlet manifold back on, and a sports exhaust being fitted the week after. Very excited as the time to drive her gets closer. Will update on the weekend as to how much progress i make, if any.

Re: Hello to all
Hi Jared,
welcome to the forum
Sounds like an interesting project you have there..... so the series 1 will be the car you're putting back on the road?
If you get a chance, please start off a build thread in the 'RX7 Rides and Projects' section and we can follow your progress and cheer you on.
cheers,
Ian

Hi ian,
Yes that's correct. The series 1 will be the one I'll be driving.successfully fitted the flywheel this arvo so ready to drop the 12a back in on the weekend. I will post pics on the weekend as requested. Great to be part of a group with the same interests. Look forward to hearing all about everyone's projects and pride & joy.
