hi every body
don't have an rx7 YET i'm still trying to gather up enough money to buy one, i'm only 17 but i love cars and am looking for a first car. but it has to be four seater and i don't know witch rx7 has the four seater option

Hi Squirt. Our SA & FB's (1st Generation RX7's) are only 2+2 sports cars.
That means the back seats are a little bench, really only good for a couple of miles cramped up if you're an adult. (Young teens might get by for a bit further). Also access to the back is through the 2 coupe doors, so very tight there as well.
The front seats are great, mile after mile in there, no problems.
At 17 though I would guess that only these old SA/FB classics we have would be affordable from an insurance point of view. I don't know what premium you would be looking at but I guess you would have to declare limited mileage on a standard car with no mods and also go for a classic policy? I'm guessing though, I don't really know.
I think the later FC (1986 to about 1993) and certainly the later FD (1993 to about ??1999) would be 'No No' as far as power and insurance goes.
FB are affordable classics right now and are easy to work on.

What Dave said, unless you're in America. I think all the American-market models were two-seaters only, with an extended load bed behind the seats and storage boxes in later/more top-range models. In which case you're a bit stuck other than importing a UK or JDM model or the parts to convert a USDM model to rear seats (which wouldn't be hard, just expensive for shipping)
