No. It is an international site for fans of the FB. We have many members from all over the world. Yes it was started in the UK and the information is mostly about UK cars but the FB was an international car and the information is transferable.
The site is still young but is also growing very fast. I know there many North American members and several Candanian, and this will only increase with time.
Who knows who is reading this, maybe another lucky Canadian FB owner.

Hope i can get to some meets or something and meet some of my fellow Canadian fb lovers

It might be a wee bit tricky ? There's a big pond in the way......

Or am I being obtuse ?

Well said James, that is exactly right. It started off as a UK forum but has since grown to become an international 1st gen site.
If Sleepy can use the forum to arrange a meetup with fellow canadian Fb owners ( or any other nationality for that matter) then that's great and that's what this site is all about....... linking fellow fb owners and pooling their knowledge in one easily accessible place.
This forum isn't mostly Kiwi's & Aussies either....... there are a few, yes, because some of the guys are now in the UK and have brought their passion and knowledge for rotarys with them from NZ and AUS but they don't outnumber the other members.
It's great that we are becoming more of an international fb community on here and we can all learn from each other. The info on here was originally posted in relation to the UK market cars but even that is changing and we are learning more about fb's from other markets worldwide..... the more members we get, the more the info on the site will grow and the more use it will be to everyone.
I don't think this forum can be described as a UK FB site....... it's even hosted in the via the US!

I think the site is great, and the wider the knowledge base becomes the better. Yeah, there are already site that cater for rotaries and claim an international flavour, but this is the only FB-specific one and certainly the only one where it's about the cars and the love of them, rather than the egos and personal agenda of some of the members. In testament to Ian's original vision the vibe here is and always has been egalitarian 8-) Long may it continue.
