Re: Hello everyone
Hi, welcome along! Interesting, that's the last-model dashboard that we never got here in the UK. I thought it only cam eon the American models with the fuel-injected engine.
I wish my FD was still as red as your much older FB has managed to stay!

Re: Hello everyone
Thanks guys for your warm welcome
I thought every S3 FB has this same dashboard so i learned new thing today
When I bought this car it wasn´t been used for few years, paint had faded a little bit and I wasn´t sure how it was going to run. I only changed battery to new one and drove it straight to MOT (because of law in here, so I wouldn´t have to pay any extra as I tried to do MOT..) car passed MOT with flying colours at first try!
Since then I enjoyed car as much as I could. On last summer car failed MOT, idler arm bushings were too worn. So I ordered Moog idler arms, but delivery from US took so long that car wasn´t in use last summer
At moment car is parked in my mates shed, and some improvments are going to made to it for next summer. As you can see, I use RX-7 only in summer, for daily driving I have Mercedes-Benz C200 Kompressor, which also takes some of my time (only minor mods on that one
)
Also FB has some minor mods. It has custom made exhaust 3 inch front section and 2,5 inch rear with two free flowing mufflers, so it is LOUD on person
Also fuel pump has been replaced to higher flow version. In interior previous owner have changed shift knob and pedal pads to red "tuner" versions. I took off pedal pads but I haven´t found knob that would suit car. Back in early 2000´s this car had tribal dragon taped in it, but it has been taken off. There were also horrible looking chrome dragon badges on car, which were there about 5 minutes when I got car
So far I have repaired rear brake calipers, changed back box into better looking one and replaced spark plugs to a NGK Iridium ones. I guess there is a lot more to do before spring
People on a forum seem to have lovely looking cars, looking forward to get to know you better. And yes, I´m going to upload some photos of my car
Sorry if my English isn´t good, you see it isn´t my native language

Hi Viljami and welcome
Do not worry about your English, there are lots of people in England that have it as their first language and it is not as good as yours.

Re: Hello everyone
Hi Viljami,
welcome to the forum mate
That's a cool loooking car.... was it built expressly for the Finnish market? From the outside it looks exactly like a UK spec series 3 but inside looks like a US spec GSL.... it's interesting to see the different specifications for different markets/countries!
Your english is very good by the way
cheers,
Ian

Re: Hello everyone
Cheers mates and glad you like my car didn´t know it was that special
I think my car is same as US GSL model. It has vented rear brake discs and Limited Slip Differential. Also electric windows in interior which wasn´t standard on these cars I think.
Market for cars like RX-7 was very small at 80´s, only 16 FB´s were registered on 1984 (my car is one of those) so I don´t know what kind of models were offered in Finland. I´m almost sure that it wasn´t exclusively for Finnish market, at least in Sweden & other Scandinavia had same models offered (or in most cases it is like that)
