Hi there, I am going to swap the 12a with the renesis engine. I am hitting 100,000 miles and just bought the car to fix up. My concern is fitting the 13b block to the existing 12a gearbox. Has anyone done this before, and have got any tips please? I have read up that all i meed is a AT flywheel and weights. Plus mounting the 13b block to my FB chassis tips will ne most welcome. I need to fabricate new mounts so i don't disturbe the steering box. The reads/posts from the US, say it has been done successfully a few times.
Thanks Dave

the bellhousing pattern is the same, not sure which clutch and flywheel you will need though

A guy on AusRotary shared lots of info on his Renesis into series 2 conversion. Big thread, check it out here: http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=240155

The flywheel has to match the bell housing.
The rear counterweight has to match the rotating assembly.
Simples.
