Gauge sender fittings

Post by DB RX63 » Tue May 27, 2014 8:41 pm

Ok chaps,

I am fitting some aftermarket Racetech gauges, which come with 3/8th BSP fittings for the water temp and oil pressure/temp senders

Does anyone know the thread spec of the 12A threads for these ?

This is the back of the water pump housing, a 3/8th BSP nearly fits, but it's not right.

I need to fit oil pressure sender and oil pressure pipe for a mechanical gauge.

I think I can use both the temp sender and the old oil cooler bypass (is it ?) outlet. The one below the oem sender hole with the big nut............

All help gratefully received !

Cheers

Derek - best thing to do is get a steel bung off ebay for a few quid for the gauge and weld that to the back of water pump over that hole.

As for the rear plate its 1/8npt
