^^ Probably about 9am, as my wife, Gwyn, is likely to come with me and that's the earliest I can probably persuade her to get out on a Sunday.

Weather is looking good, up to 20 degrees and sunny intervals all day 8-)

No problem Pete, that's one heck of a journey from your home, so fully understand. It's so local to me (less than 30 mins) that it's crazy not to go ;)

Looking forward to Beaulieu too - always a great day out :D

I was really pleased that Bash (Barry) and his wife (Kim - I hope I remembered that right ;)) showed up with their 13b Cosmo. It was a pleasure the meet them both and have a chat about such a rare car. I think he's got a really good example in fantastic looking condition, inside and out. We found ourselves talking to people for most of the day as there was quite some lively interest in our pair of cars.

This was quite a small scale show, but very enjoyable in the warm weather with occasional bursts of sun from between the cloud cover. The Museum had an eclectic mix of steam and other engines on display. "Marshall", a HUGE steam engine was running throughout the day and was immensely impressive for it smooth and quiet running. The flywheel on this enormous triple cylinder engine weighs 18 tons!

Only problem now is that my oil cooler has sprung a leak :( I won't get a chance to look at it until later in the week, but it's not from any of the pipes or connectors, so must be a hole in the matrix. It's looking like I will need a new cooler....
