Heater hoses with front mount oil cooler

Postby kenwhiteside » Mon Jun 29, 2015 6:30 am

So I have a turboII oil cooler plumbed in and have fitted a s2 motor to my s3. On the s3 there was two coolant outlets on the left side of the block presumably to allow a feed of coolant through the oil cooler when the stat is closed.

Looking at photos on the net it seems that the s2 also has two pipes connected to the heater outlet. Is this a coolant bypass or something to do with the nikki?? At the minute I have simply connected the block outlet to the heater inlet and the heater outlet to the bottom hose. Do I need a t peice somewhere?

Thanks,

Tim
