Not seen this Renaissance Red S2 car before.
Location seems to be near Moffat in Scotland.

£190k !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (smileys down, so those will have to do!)

Will be interesting to see what it actually sells for!
KIMI 1 : RX-7 1st Gen "hybrid"; 1983 S2 running gear in a 1985 S3 shell, SORN'd, long term resto project
KIMI 2 : RX-7 1st Gen; 1983 S2, "identical" twin to KIMI 1, on the road :-)
Plus a 2004 Full Bridgeported RX-8 too!

I assume it was legit built but was never raced and later carpet, etc. was added.

Would love it but that price is pretty high! I'm sure a collector will buy it though. It probably won't see a public road again.

I'll stick to my FD and continue my search for a normal FB.

If I had the money I would buy it
It would only see gravel roads.

It obviously didn't reach reserve in Coy's auction.

It would only be worth that amount if it had provenance, which it does not. Some things are just not genuine Gp B parts and some things are missing.

It doesn't feel quite right, having said that I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the cash !

Let's check that lottery ticket again....................

The group b one isn't worth what they are asking. Not even close. It's not an escort beater and realistically won't be.
You could build one just as fast for a fraction of the cost.
The return is imminent
