Car looks pretty bad on the surface so what must the underneath be like .
To make matters worse it is Metallic Green with brown interior. What were Mazda thinking?

Seems a bit optimistic asking £1600 for an engine with unknown history.

Red Series 3 for sale in Eastbourne on Ebay
Looks ok but obviously needs some work. 81k miles
The seller is trying to compare the car with series 4 cars so is not really clued up.
Might be an opportunity....
I don't recognise the number plate but i am sure Ian will confirm

Thanks Kev, that's a new spot, not previously on the register but it's been off the road since 2011 so it probably slipped the net. I'd be interested to know if it's been converted to 13b.... looks pretty stock from the photo

I have been staring at a lot of engine bays of late, looks like a stock 12a to me. Good colour combo and for right price could scrub up ok.

The beauty of a living thing is not the atoms that go into it, but the way those atoms are put together.
