Did a big show last weekend, you will be surprised at how the questions have changed over the years from all about the performance to now "It 's the tip seal or something that wore out" or "How many engines you had" "Don't make em any more" or along those lines!bluemoon6666 wrote:Showing my Pride and Joy for the first time in over 20yrs at the Herne Bay Classic Car show in Kent this coming Sunday the 17th, If its not raining of course.
Or they start telling their wives how they work who are not the slightest bit interested & you can see their eyes glaze over

Then you get the ex owners or the guys that once raced them & the chaps who read all about them but had never seen one.................they are interesting & usually have a wealth of experience.
It is really good fun, you will love it

Hahahaha. This is my wife!! To be fair though, she does retain a fair amount of it and hates herself for recognizing all these cars nowDKWW2000 wrote: Or they start telling their wives how they work who are not the slightest bit interested & you can see their eyes glaze over![]()

Re: First Car show in 20yrs!
Sorry for the delay in answering, yes the show went really well. Lots of questions and inquirers, mostly from guys who were sort of interested into the the Rotary Engine. Also has predicted some guys turned up explaining to there partners how the Rotary Engine works, and yes definitely saw the Glazed look from some of the women partners!!DKWW2000 wrote:How did the show go?
Next show is on the 21st August in my Home town so will see how that goes
