Well ... that didn't take long. Was there a caveat to the sale requiring the red coach stripe to be retained on the vehicle?

What is your Gus replacement list looking like?

Well to remove it would mean a loss of speed all round. So I would guess it might stay.
The replacement list is looking gloomy. A small automatic with a torque converter auto box.
On a PCP basis for the wife. Hyundai? Toyota Yaris? and so on.

Wow shame to see you have sold Gus, but hopefully Gus brings lots of happy times to the new owner and is sympathetically preserved as its a genuine survivor car!

Dave, 2 years ago I bought my wife a Kia Picanto Auto (please do not laugh) it ticked all the boxes that she wanted, Aircon, nice colour etc etc. They have a 7 year 100K warranty! Try as I have, i cannot fault it, it has a small tank that never seems to need filling & the oil never seems to get dirty!
It is quite fun to drive & will sit at 70 - 80 all day, worth considering

What engine do your Kia have Pete? Cause i think about buying one for my little daughter and she like to have power Is it the 1,2 or the 1,0 litre? Picture? I know Kia as they produced for mazda the 121 and later in their own direction the Pride.
