so sorry to hear this Dave.... I never thought the day would come when you would part with Gus... as Thomas says it's worth every penny of your asking price.... let's hope it finds a deserving owner.

A well loved and looked after car for sure. Best of luck with your health. Wouldnt it be great if we humans could get an oil change every few thousand miles and keep going at full strength! Im thinking Six Million Dollar Man with a rotor for a ticker! I guess I would still save for Elford upgrade.

Re: Hi Guys - Sadly selling Gus.
Hi Dave,
It is a great shame that you have to sell Gus.
It is almost inevitable that as us older owners progress age wise owning and driving these 80's cars becomes more difficult especially without power steering.
It is good that younger owners like GT James are appreciating these cars.
Good luck with the sale and I am sure you will only sell it to someone who will take care of it.

Damn that is a real shame there. I hope whoever gets the car appreciated it and treats it well!

Well ... that didn't take long. Was there a caveat to the sale requiring the red coach stripe to be retained on the vehicle?

Wow shame to see you have sold Gus, but hopefully Gus brings lots of happy times to the new owner and is sympathetically preserved as its a genuine survivor car!
