Hey guys,
Has anyone had any luck fitting slot mags to the rx?
Iv currently got an s3 with 4x114.3 , and a set of slot mags with 4x108
To convert the rear im just going to get the hubs drilled with 4x108 pattern along side,so i can swap back to 4x114.3 if i wanted to.
However the front isnt gonna be as easy due to the front hubs having a lip where i would be drilling the new stud pattern.
Does anyone know of a brand of front hubs that are flush on the back, OR do you have any other suggestions?
Id rather not use wobble bolts as iv read mixed reviews and decided its not worth potential death for the sake of spending some time finding a better solution!

Re: Slot mags?

Slot mags on my fb (well shelby cal 500 from a 240z actually) mine came in 4x114 so no need to mess around with patterns just needed to find bolts.
I know you can get some narrow ones on a high offset the run an adapter, that being said would it not just be easier to find some in 4x114 as there is quite a few sets kicking about as loads of older stuff ran them eg triumph simatar mg nissan toyota mazda

Re: Slot mags?
Very true, but i have managed to purchase a set for £70 with new tyres and the offset i want.
I know you can get 4x114 ones but to find them in the offset im after for the price i can afford is a bit tough.
However, that being said.
I have spent approx 2 hours drilling and managed to do one side.
Quite happy with the result.
Also means i now have the choice of running 4x108 or 4x114 in the future, opens up options
(excuse the primer, shes awaiting a lick of paint!)

Re: Slot mags?
They look good, I always loved these, you will have to get a good Alu polish & a tub of lateral Epicondyle lubricant before you start
