US spec rear bumpers

anyone know if I just need the outer skin and can reuse my UK spec bumper reinforcing bar or is the reinforcing bar different as well?

The reinforcing bar is different Ian. The US spec are also out of aluminium not steel. The bumper is fixed with shock absorber.

I was also thinking to just make a cutout in the UK bumper, clean it up, make brackets for plate/lights then mount it back on the car. Unsure how it'd turn out though ha

James done it looks not so bad. Ask him about the cost.

I've got a jap rear bumper not fitted, I can get you some pics to compare to yours if you need? Mine needs fixing as the edge cracked in shipping.
